For classic car enthusiasts like us, there was no better way to celebrate Summer Solstice, than hosting a meet. So we did. Many friends of air and watercooled classics followed our call and gathered together on this sunny evening in Shoreham by-Sea for the Heretics June Meet.
Back to the yard
With the bulk of cars and buses parked up in the front yard, it was business as usual for our enthusiasts’ event. To a soundtrack of funk, reggae and hip hop played on vinyl by the Original45ers the sun shone and the cross section of German metal attracted much deserved attention. You can catch these guys spinning their tunes at the excellent Camper Marmalade in July and maybe we’ll have them back to entertain us later in the year.
Debuting their fresh, hand drawn clothing range, and demonstrating the artistic skills of Beetle driver Craig, we welcomed ThirtyOneTen along to show off their wares. Both Sally and Craig are keen VW enthusiasts and Heritage Customers; we caught up with them and their car collection last year – read about it here.
Let’s do it again
As the summer rolls on, we’ll be praying for more sunshine, and looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at July’s meet on the 19th. More information can be found on our Facebook event page here.
