Porsche Club at Borde Hill Gardens: Gallery

As members of Porsche Club GB, we were invited along by the Sussex region (R23) who were having a small gathering and picnic on the lawns at Borde Hill Garden just outside Haywards Heath.

R23 Representing…

There were examples of most models on display, which looked even more lovely with the beautiful backdrop of the gardens and Manor House. It was a casual affair – no judging or prizes, just chit-chat and a few sandwiches on a rug.

Oldest and Newest…

From 356 through to 992, the evolution of the marque was pretty well represented… They were missing a 944 though!

Dogs Welcome!

Freshly finished 914

Just out of restoration was this bright green Porsche 914 sat on 8 spoke alloys, which was now back on the road to enjoy the rest of the 50th year celebrations.

Gardens and Woodland to explore

When talking Porsche and taking photos becomes a little too much, the gardens – complete with Sculpture exhibition (when we were there) and woodland Fairy trail (perfect for my 3-year-old) offers the opportunity to explore away from the cars.

Photo finish…

A big thank you to Christine and Martin for organising this event on behalf of Porsche Club GB Region 23 and to Borde Hill Gardens for hosting. If you are a club member, we’ll see you at the next one…
